180. Losing Bets (2)

People are suffering losing betslip fatigue. I will post one more losing betslip though. Without doubt the most frustrating one on that Bet365 account given the account was closed between bet placement and the event taking place. It traded at 1.1 before losing.

The whole purpose of the posts this week is to highlight that if you want to get involved properly with this game you have to be able to handle an awful lot of losing bets. Some will involve plenty of bad luck and bad breaks. This isn’t some make believe world where we record p/ls on a spreadsheet at make believe prices.

Can you handle huge swings on events out of your control? It’s why I am not that interested in listening to people who claim to be betting experts who don’t have skin in the game.  Who haven’t actually experienced the crazy highs and lows. It is a huge part of the whole picture of being a professional bettor. When you go on runs where it feels like the whole world is against you. Can you keep your discipline and trust your processes?

I will talk about the Bet365 account in more detail at some other time. People have become so fixated on how bets like that were placed. Making assumptions about stuff they know nothing about. It wasn’t the intended purpose. It was just useful as I had a few pictures of bets placed on there from some old Whats App messages.
